This Egyptian pendulum is also known as a Thot pendulum. This type of divination tool is famous because of its specific shape, great for both emission and reception. Thot's pendulums are reproductions of Ouadj amulets, like the one discovered in a sarcophagus in the valley of the kings in Egypt. The flower of life is an important spiritual symbol, consists of 19 overlapping and interconnected circles. As all things are built following this plan, the flower of life is a representation of the divine, and of the cycle of creation. Used since the 6th century, it was mostly engraved or painted during the Roman era, the medieval age, and the gothic period. The flower of life is now often used by the new age movement.
